The Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and the “National Center for Educational Development and Innovation” Foundation have developed the Manual entitled “PARENTING”, which is aimed at promoting positive parenting skills, continuous cooperation with preschool and general educational institutions, and the parent community, as well as establishing a culture of inclusion.
The competent organization of the parenting process directly determines the effectiveness of the educational process implemented in preschool and general educational institutions. The education and upbringing of children, as well as the most effective realization of their development potential, are largely determined by the correct perception of their functions by the parent community, and the mastery of positive parenting skills, which is often neglected.
The Manual addresses the following topics:
- ✦ Different forms of family-preschool educational institution-school cooperation and their manifestations;
- ✦ Peculiarities of parenting in school and preschool educational institutions;
- ✦ Mechanisms of preschool educational institution-school cooperation;
- ✦ The importance of parent-school communication,
- ✦ Manifestations of parenting in different democratic and digital societies;
- ✦ As well as approaches and observations on parenting skills, based on the best interests of the child.
