This manual is intended to clarify the responsibilities and tasks of a teacher assistant, as well as a description of ways to work with teachers.
The manual consists of 3 parts. The first part presents the working models of the teacher's assistant, his/her requirements and responsibilities both in other countries and in Armenia.
The second part presents the main content of the teacher assistant's activities and the directions of the implemented activities as a pedagogical employee in general educational establishment.

The first part of the manual presents the main approaches to the effective implementation of inclusive education, the methods of providing three-level pedagogical-psychological support, the main processes of assessing the SEN.
The second part of the manual includes strategies for organizing the education of preschoolers with speech, hearing, vision, mental development, mobility, behavioral and emotional disorders. In this section, you will get acquainted with the system of indicators presented by the age development scale. The educational, professional, and environmental guidelines given for each disorder will guide the preschool education process effectively.
The manual also presents individual case descriptions that will help you identify the problems encountered during your activity and provide appropriate pedagogical and psychological support. This manual presents the general characteristics and nature of autistic spectrum disorders, areas of manifestation, the main stages of psychiatric diagnosis, the main indicators of autism manifested from early childhood to school age.
You can find also the principles and features of psychological support, techniques, approaches and tricks used during psychological work. Social adjustment issues for children with autism spectrum disorders have been emphasized. So, the manual is intended for psychologists of the RPPSCs. Students, who are studying psychology at universities can use the manual, as well as is can be useful for parents of children with SEN.

Parenting manual for working with parents of children with SEN

This manual also presents the problems in the parent-specialist relationship and the ways to overcome the latter, as parenting includes working with parents due to the child's difficulties, as well as a process aimed at creating an atmosphere of mutual trust and cooperation with parents.
It is designed for preschool, junior and high school children and professionals working with their parents. It is a guide for professionals in kindergartens, schools, as well as establishments providing social care and inclusive education. The information in the manual can be used for both group and individual work.
