Before the start of 2021-2022 academic year, in the framework of the August consultations the meeting of the directors of Shirak Region educational establishments took place on August 26. RA MoESCS Deputy Minister Zhanna Andreasyan and Deputy of Shirak Region Hovhannes Harutyunyan, executive director at “National Center for Education Development and Innovation” Foundation Artashes Torosyan, PRRC Araqsia Svajyan, directors of the General Education Establishments of the region and heads of various subdivisions of the Ministry of Health took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, issues related to voluntary and mandatory teacher training, new assessment approaches and programs implemented in schools, as well as important information on legal acts related to the educational system were discussed.
The successes and problems of the implementation of inclusive education in the schools of the region were presented to the secondary schools’ directors of Shirak region.
The role and organization of the implementation of education and pedagogical-psychological support for children with SEN at the school level through individual training plans was emphasized.
