Representatives of the NCEDI Foundation, the Department of General Education of RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center, Tavush Marzpetaran, the Center for Professional Orientation and Capacity Development of the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the «Ayb» Foundation participated in the current discussion.
The aim of the meeting was to outline the main tasks to be done, the terms of the works and the possible problems conditioned by them.
The Ministry has now submitted for public discussion the draft curriculum for testing new subject standards, which is intended for the testing classes in general schools of Tavush region during the 2021-2022 academic year.
From September 1, the new subject standards and programs will be implemented for experimental purposes in the 2nd, 5th, 7th and 10th grades of all state secondary schools in Tavush region.
Until September, teachers of all secondary schools in Tavush region will be trained under the EU grant project. STEM subject training courses will be conducted by the AYB Foundation, and in the humanitarian-public direction, by the NCEDI Foundation.
Training couses will also be provided for school directors and administrative staff. The Center for Professional Orientation and Capacity Development of the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is responsible for the introduction of Vocational Orientation clubs in schools.
The Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center supports the local issues.
