5th phase of the “Ensuring the Development of Teaching Skills for Teachers and Teacher’s Assistants” program was launched

The 5th phase of the “Ensuring the Development of Teaching Skills for Teachers and Teacher’s Assistants” program was launched in September 2021.

As a result of the introduction of total inclusive education in Gegharkunik and Kotayk Marzes from 2021, these regions are also involved in the program.

53 mentors were involved in this phase of the program and they are working with 53 schools, 25 of which were in Yerevan, 3 in Aragatsotn Marz, 7 in Shirak Marz, 7 in Kotayk Marz and 11 in Gegharkunik Marz.

So, the mentors are carrying out training courses of about 50 hours, which is attended by 1171 teachers and teacher’s assistants. They conduct lesson planning with teachers, and 884 teachers receive ongoing mentoring support, which is gradually declining.
