“Art 3” Workbook is based on the tasks set by the general education standards, the requirements for the outcomes of subject knowledge, and the formation of relevant competencies. The Workbook includes general knowledge, which provides a complete picture of the key concepts of art literacy, as well as its internal connections and relationships. The tasks are adapted to identify various abilities and capabilities of students, and help develop fine arts skills. They contain the application and consolidation of knowledge and skills that students have mastered during previous academic years, as well as imply the expression of knowledge acquired in various academic subjects. The tasks are aimed at revealing fine arts patterns through students’ own experiences, using different materials and various technical capabilities, developing students’ spatial understanding and volumetric perception, as well as the ability to see and discover the world in colour, symmetry, simple geometric shapes, and bodies.
