The aim of the Methodological Guide is to support teachers of general educational institutions and specialists from Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers in the process of developing communication skills, independence, ability to overcome learning and developmental difficulties of children with learning disorders.
The Manual proposes methodologies aimed at developing independent living and communication skills of children with special educational needs and requiring third and fourth levels of pedagogical-psychological support services, as well as ensuring an educational environment that is characterized by accessibility, adaptation to the children’s lives and educational needs, and a developmental nature.
The Manual also concentrates on the practical orientation of learning (subject, game, communicative, constructive, artistic, work activities) and the acquisition of knowledge and skills about the surrounding world, their application and consolidation, as well as the formation of children’s social experience.
