The Parent’s Role in the Development of Children’s Speech and Communication — Manual for Parents

The Parent’s Role in the Development of Children’s Speech and Communication
Manual of Parents

The Manual presents approaches, methods, and strategies aimed at developing and enhancing children’s speech and language skills, enabling them to gradually understand the speech of people around them, express their thoughts coherently, use language in various social situations, and engage effectively in interactions with adults and peers. Particular attention is given to the parent’s role in the development of children’s speech and communication, the importance of non-verbal communication and its impact on speech development, as well as practical recommendations for parents on how to support the development of their child’s non-verbal communication skills. The Manual also presents two key areas of non-verbal communication development: non-verbal means of communication and non-verbal receptive skills, through which children perceive non-verbal information from the world around them.
