The training courses are going on within the framework of the experimental program of implementation of a new state standard of general education in Tavush Region.
From 4-7 of August about 300 teachers participated in the online training courses on “Digital Literacy and Computer Science”. They are teaching in the 2nd, 5th, 7th and 10th grades of schools in Tavush Region.
The courses were interactive, full of theoretical and practical materials.
Teachers were introduced to the four main disciplinary areas of school level:
1. Computing and Society
2. Digital Tools and Collaboration
3. Computing Systems,
4. Computational and Algorithmic Thinking
The project of experimental implementation of the State Standard of General Education in the Educational Institutions of Tavush region is implemented within the framework of the “European Union for Innovation” partnership project of the World Bank and RA MoESCS.
The logistical work of the training courses is carried out by the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center.
