The 8th “Education in the changing world” congress of teachers and education workers of the CIS countries took place in Yerevan. “The impact of global realities on education development in the CIS member states”. About 120 representatives of the CIS countries participated in this congress.
So, the conference aims to contribute to the provision of modern approaches and mechanisms of education, the transfer of cultural heritage, and the assimilation of innovative achievements in various fields through the development of cooperation of the CIS countries.
RA Minister of ESCS Zhanna Andreasyan made an opening speech and mentioned that the strategic plan for the development of education in the Republic of Armenia is aimed at expanding human potential and developing the self-realization of human capital, which implies a completely transformed approach to all levels and systems of formal and informal education.
Within the framework of the plenary discussion, the MoESCS deputy minister A. Svajyan presented the new standards of education in Armenia, the main directions, goals, and final results defined by them, which are aimed at providing better quality and accessible education at all levels.
Speaking about the programs aimed at ensuring access to education, and creating quality and accessible educational opportunities for all children, she particularly emphasized the introduction of the total inclusive education system, which allows every child, regardless of their development level, intellectual, linguistic, or social capabilities, to receive quality education at school or kindergarten.
The leaders of the delegations of the participating states – Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan – also made speeches within the framework of the conference, expressing their satisfaction with the reception and the possibility of effective discussions.
During the conference, teachers and education workers of the CIS member states were awarded with the “Excellence of CIS Education” badge.
Additionally, within the framework of the festival, an exhibition of educational innovations and technologies was held, during which the activities of the RPPC, the developed and published educational manuals, and guides were presented to educators from different countries.
Within the framework of the 3rd International Festival of Pedagogical Mastery, master classes were also held. Specialists of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center Eliza Qeoshkaryan and Armine Avagyan also participated.
Eliza Qeoshkaryan presented a report on “Organization of social pedagogue’s practice”, referring to the forms and ways of organizing social pedagogue’s practice, and A. Avagyan spoke about “Children’s fears”, presenting the methodology she developed herself.
The 3rd International Festival of Pedagogical Mastery was concluded with the awarding ceremony of the participants, during which RPPC specialists Eliza Qeoshkaryan and Armine Avagyan received certificates of honor.
