The Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center is currently conducting consultations for specialists from Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers.
On February 4 and 5, 2025, the regular consultation held by the specialists of the RPPC Assessment Department was attended by specialists from Yerevan No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, Kotayk, and Vagharshapat Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers, and “For You” charitable non-governmental organization providing pedagogical-psychological support services in Ararat marz.
The key topic of the consultation was the assessment toolkit for the special educational needs of students with hearing impairments. Issues related to overcoming difficulties encountered in the assessment processes of special educational and developmental needs and special educational needs, defined qualifiers, appropriate descriptions, and criteria, as well as provision of reasonable accommodations were also discussed.
Consultations on the same topic are also conducted online for assessment specialists of all Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers of the Republic of Armenia.
The process is ongoing.
