Courses for the parent community of preschool and general education institutions have launched in the RA marzes and Yerevan since January 2025.
The courses are aimed at preventing difficulties that arise in the educational and developmental processes of children. The courses contribute to raising parents’ awareness and the mental well-being of children.
Armine Avagyan, psychologist at RPPC Department of Pedagogical-Psychological Assistance, conducted seminars on the “Childhood Fears” topic at Yerevan Nursery and Kindergarten № 42, Masis Nursery and Kindergarten № 3, Ddmashen Kindergarten, and “Zatik” Kindergarten in Jermuk Community. During the meetings, the causes of childhood fears, ways and methods of overcoming them, as well as the role of parents in this process were discussed.
About 60 parents participated in the meetings. They had the opportunity to consult with the trainer, share their experiences, and receive practical advice.
The meetings are ongoing and are aimed at expanding parents’ knowledge in this area and supporting children’s mental development, thereby promoting their inclusion in educational processes.
