AWARE PARENTS BUILD STRONG AND SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITIES
On June 19, 2025, an online course for parents on the topic “I LISTEN, I UNDERSTAND, I SUPPORT: HOW TO RECOGNIZE CHILD’S NEEDS” (part two) was held.
The trainer of the Course was Alina Manukyan, a specialist at RPPC Department of Content Development, PhD in Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor.
The aim of the Course was the love for a child and its various manifestations, the specifics of building parent-child relationships, and different approaches to supporting a child. The importance of discovering a child’s love language and speaking to them in that language was emphasized, since it is fundamental in terms of building trust between a child and a parent.
The speaker presented various factors that are important for children’s self-expression, comprehensive development, and building relationships with the world. Reference was made to various strategies for supporting children that will contribute to the formation of self-confidence, courage, and independence in them.
The Course was interactive: participants also shared their own experiences, receiving professional advice from the speaker on issues of concern to them.
