Ahead of the 2025-2026 academic year, the regular August Consultations were held from August 18 to 29, concluding with the participation of principals, administrative, and economic coordinators from public schools in Yerevan.
The aim of the consultations was to discuss the upcoming academic year and clarify priorities.
During the meetings, the results of the 2024-2025 academic year were summarized, the activities carried out in the education sector, and the key issues of organizing the educational process were discussed. The processes related to the organization of education in the new academic year were also outlined.
Addressing the issues of bullying, cybersecurity, and preventing harmful habits, the 2025-2026 academic year has been declared the Year of a Safe and Secure Educational Environment. With this in mind, a school safety guide has been developed, and training and professional consultations will be conducted throughout the year. The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports urged to pay special attention to digital security and personal data protection.
During the consultations, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the winners of the “Best of the Year” competition, within the framework of which specialists from the Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers of the Republic of Armenia were also awarded.
