October 24-31 is marked by the United Nations (UN) as Global Media and Information Literacy Week. It is an international movement held annually and is aimed at drawing greater attention to improving public information literacy.
The Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center regularly conducts seminars and courses aimed at developing media literacy and computer skills of RPPC and TPPSC specialists, and improving relevant skills.
Within this framework, the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center held another seminar on the “Computer Literacy: Mastering Microsoft Office Work Tools and Improving Skills” topic, which was aimed at improving the technological literacy of RPPC specialists, improving their skills, and increasing work efficiency in line with modern technological developments.
The Seminar was conducted by Heghine Davtyan, Specialist at the RPPC Department of Information and Public Relations, and the RPPC website developer-administrator.
The Seminar was conducted on an interactive-practical basis, during which the Microsoft Office package was addressed. H. Davtyan presented in detail the practical skills of working in the software domain of various text editors, touched upon the methods of using digital tools, the most frequently encountered errors and their correct versions, as well as presented the features of computer operation. The participants were provided with the skills to work more effectively with digital tools and built-in automated instructions.
The Seminar was accompanied by active discussions and enthusiasm: participants received answers to their questions in the field of information technologies through practical exercises.
