Welcoming the guests, RPPC Director Lilit Mnatsakanyan attached importance to the cooperation with the World Bank in the implementation and organization of universal inclusive education.
The meeting addressed the opportunities for developing the capacities of psychologists in general education schools in the context of primary measurements in the field of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), touched upon the issues and challenges emerging during the reforms in the organization of universal inclusive education, and included exchange of views on the effective cooperation carried out so far, as well as on future programs.
A number of issues related to the organization of short-term targeted training courses for psychologists, clarification of training topics, development of screening (diagnostic) tools, involvement of psychologists in psychological screening processes for certain groups of children, as well as data collection and analysis were considered.
The meeting was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere. Prospects for further cooperation were outlined.
