VI Congress of Teachers and education system employees of the CIS member states took place on October 27-29 in Dushanbe. The RA delegation headed by the RA MoESCS Deputy Minister Zhanna Andreasyan also took part in the congress. RPPC Director Araksia Svajyan, executive director at “National Center for
Education Development and Innovation” Foundation Artashes Torosyan, Director of the National Center for Educational Technologies Artak Poghosyan, directors and teachers of pre-school and general education establishments.
RA delegation members made speeches, participated in panel discussions and round tables. Also, they touched upon the current issues of strengthening and development of humanitarian cooperation in the field of education.
Representatives of state agencies and educational organizations, as well as teachers and educators from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the conference entitled “CIS Educational Area as a Strategic Resource for Sustainable Development”.
The conference was held with the support of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation.
At the end of the event, a resolution of the conference was adopted, which reflected the spheres and methods of cooperation, as well as the strategy for the development of education in the CIS and the perspective tools.
