Within the framework of cooperation in the education sector, on December 9, the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center hosted responsible representatives of the Estonian education sector Mari-Lise Sults, Tiina Tiit, Reet Sillavee, and Riina Stahl. The meeting was aimed at studying the experience of the two countries in organizing education and exchanging successful experiences in the field of inclusive education.
Welcoming the guests, RPPC Director Lilit Mnatsakanyan presented the process and features of introducing and developing universal inclusive education in Armenia, elaborated on the main functions of RPPC, as well as provided a detailed overview of the activities and reforms implemented by the Center, particularly focusing on the training of pedagogical workers and specialists, consultations and monitoring, mechanisms of TPPSC-school cooperation, and other issues in the field.
The Estonian partners, in turn, addressed the peculiarities of the Estonian education sector and inclusive education processes. The possibilities and prospects for cooperation and the implementation of joint projects were considered.
The meeting was held in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
