On June 27, 2025, the final meeting of the “SOCIALIZATION WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION: PROMOTING HEALTHY EMOTIONS AND EQUAL RELATIONSHIPS” program, implemented in collaboration with RPPC and Kanani NGO, was held at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center.
The Program was implemented with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia. The Program is aimed at expanding the full and effective participation and equal opportunities of women and men in the field of education and science.
The staff of RPPC and “Kanani” Social-Psychological Center NGO, as well as the directors of the Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers and their representatives, were present at the Meeting.
Welcoming the attendees, RPPC Deputy Director Haykuhi Adamyan emphasized the important role of education in eliminating gender barriers, overcoming stereotypes, and creating a more inclusive environment.
President of “Kanani” Social-Psychological Center NGO Kristina Baghdasaryan elaborated on the goals and content of the Program, which originate from the UN Sustainable Development Goals and are aimed at creating a gender-equal, gender-sensitive, gender-responsive educational environment without discrimination, as well as applying strategies.
Then, the manual entitled “OVERCOMING GENDER STEREOTYPES IN THE CONTEXT OF CREATING A SAFE AND SECURE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT: GENDER AND EMOTION,” developed within the framework of cooperation between RPPC and “Kanani” NGO, was presented. The authors of the Manual are Haykuhi Adamyan and Ani Khudoyan.
The aim of the Manual is to provide educators with tools, methods, and knowledge that will help promote gender equality in the educational process, contributing to raising the level of awareness among teachers and developing a culture of respect, fairness, and inclusion in the classroom.
During the Meeting, reference was made to the content of the Manual and the strategies and tools included in it, which are aimed at overcoming gender stereotypes and ensuring equal opportunities for all students, regardless of gender, to achieve success.

It should be noted that the Manual “OVERCOMING GENDER STEREOTYPES IN THE CONTEXT OF CREATING A SAFE AND SECURE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT: GENDER AND EMOTION” has been approved for use as educational material by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
The Meeting took place in a warm atmosphere, with a willingness to continue the cooperation in the future.
