On September 19-20, 2025, a two-day training course on the “Organization of the Activities of the Psychologists of a Secondary Educational Institution at School” topic was held at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center, which was organized within the framework of the “Rights, Services, and Participation: Fostering a Comprehensive Mental Health Framework in Armenia” program, implemented in cooperation with the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and the Armenian Mental Health Association.
The trainers were psychologists Anush Aleksanyan and Lilit Chobanyan.
The Training Course was aimed at assessing and consistently developing psychological support in general educational institutions, as well as increasing its impact and practical effectiveness.
The topics of the training course were separated into four main units:
- ✦ forms and methods of the activities of a psychologist of a general educational institution with students;
- ✦ peculiarities and risks of mental health of students;
- ✦ work of a psychologist of a general educational institution with pedagogical workers, parents, and administrative staff;
- ✦ stress and conflict management in general educational institutions.
The training course was accompanied by discussions of cases and situations, during which the participants raised questions and approaches of interest to them.
