In cooperation with the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and UNICEF, specialists from the RPPC Department of Training and Methodological Support conducted training courses on the topic “INCLUSION PROCESS AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT SERVICES IN THE FIELD OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION” in December 2025, for about 360 pedagogical staff of institutions implementing vocational and secondary vocational education and training (VET) programs in the Republic of Armenia.
The aim of the training courses was to contribute to the development of professional capacities of pedagogical staff of VET institutions by forming the knowledge and practical skills necessary for the effective implementation of inclusive education. During the training courses, participants discussed approaches aimed at the inclusion of students, regardless of their social, cultural, economic, geographical, or ethnic affiliation, as well as the presence of disabilities. At the same time, participants were introduced to the legislative regulations and new methodological approaches in the field of VET.
The theoretical component of the training courses was combined with practical work, including scenario-based tasks, role-playing exercises, videos, group discussions, and situation analysis, which ensures the active involvement of participants and the applicability of the educational material in their professional practice.
At the end of the training courses, participants highly appreciated the richness of the program content, the relevance of the topics, and the practical orientation, noting that the acquired knowledge and skills will contribute to the development of an inclusive educational environment in VET institutions.
