On October 20, 2026, a meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Human Rights Defender’s Office, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, and the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center (RPPC).
During the meeting, Anna Khudoyan, Chief Specialist of the Division of Development and Implementation of General Education and Extracurricular Programs of the Department of General Education of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, and Liana Margaryan, Head of the Department of Assessment of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center (RPPC), discussed issues related to the reorganisation of special schools, the development of resource centres, ensuring continuity in students’ education, and the provision of necessary pedagogical-psychological services.
The importance of cooperation between the RPPC and the competent authorities was emphasised in advancing inclusive education, ensuring the full realisation of the right to education of children with disabilities, and creating the necessary conditions for their inclusion in the general education system.
