According to the protocol decision of the RA Government of February 18, 2016 “On approving the action plan and schedule for the implementation of the universal inclusive education system” in 2021 the last two regions of the RA, Ararat and Vayots Dzor, will pass to universal inclusive education.
Within the framework of the universal inclusion system implementation program in Ararat region, on July 28, a meeting was held with the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the RPPC, the “For You” NGO providing regional pedagogical-psychological services, the representatives of the RA Ararat Regional Administration on the issues of preparatory works for the transition to universal inclusive education, provision of pedagogical-psychological support services and awareness of the training of pedagogues of general educational establishments.
During the meeting, the action plan and schedule for the implementation of the universal inclusive education system in Ararat region, the general ideology of inclusive education, the three-tier system of providing pedagogical and psychological support services were presented, as well as the importance of protecting children’s rights and the state position was emphasized.
