A meeting for the 2022-2023 academic year was held in the meeting hall of the Vayots Dzor Region Administration, led by Vayots Dzor Region Governor Ararat Grigoryan and the RA MoESCS Deputy Minister Mrs. Andreasyan on August 25th.
Mrs. Andreasyan presented the reforms made in the educational system, and the preparatory works for the introduction of the New State Standard of general education, informing that it will be introduced gradually in all schools of the country from September 2023.
She also noted that in order to increase the efficiency of the teacher’s work, it is planned to reduce the weekly workload, and increase the salary of the heads of educational institutions and the administration.
Also, issues related to the changes in the law regulating the field of general education and the effective implementation of the educational process of the new academic year were discussed.
