August consultations were concluded with a meeting with the directors of general educational establishments in Yerevan.
The meeting of the RA MoESCS high schools was held in the “Dom Moskvy” on August 30th.
So, the consultation was conducted by the RA MoESCS deputy minister Zhanna Andreasyan. The head of the general education department A. Baghdasaryan, director of NCEDI Foundation A. Torosyan, director of the Republican Pedagogical – Psychological Center A. Svajyan, officials of the ministry, and directors of high schools took part.
Mrs. Andreasyan spoke about the primary tasks and noted that huge work was carried out during the current academic year. From September 2023, the new standard will be used in the 2nd, 5th, 7th and 10th grades.
This means that the form of formation of senior classes will change. This was piloted in the Tavush region, and positive results are already being observed.
Voluntary certification, amendments to the “Public Education” law, particularly new legal regulations related to the teaching of school administrative workers, curricula, inclusive education organization, implementation, difficulties and other issues were also discussed.
