A consultation was held in Lori Region with the participation of RA MoESCS representatives, regional education officials, school directors, deputy directors, and heads of pre-school educational establishments on August 30th.
During the consultation, the current and planned works for the 2022-2023 academic year, the implementation of the new standard, the use of new methods and toolkits, the voluntary certification of teachers, and a number of other issues were discussed.
Arsen Baghdasaryan, the head of the general education department of the RA MoESCS, presented the process of implementing the new state standards of general education, the result, and a number of changes that will be implemented in the new school year.
Director of the Republican Pedagogical – Psychological Center Araqsia Svajyan presented the steps to be taken in the direction of introducing universal preschool education in the Lori region in 2022, legal acts contributing to the organization of the process, legislative changes, implemented programs, and issues related to the sphere.
