The initiative of the RA MoESCS aimed at realizing equal opportunities for education is to include in the state budget programs the issue of providing Braille textbooks to children with visual impairments.
Those textbooks will be printed with the help of state funding and will be available to children from September 2023.
According to the RA Minister of MoESCS Zhanna Andreasyan, amendments were also made to the Law on General Education to create resource centers in regions. So the students with special need for education, will have the opportunity to receive education in their communities.
