The conversation on Public Radio “Khoshoratsuyts” program was about “A person with disability and his environment. who or what is the target?” topic.
- ✦ What are the gaps of inclusive education?
- ✦ How the existing problems have been solved?
According to RPPC director Araksia Svajyan, inclusive education is an education for each child, which means that any child who meets environmental or educational difficulties must be provided with all the adaptations. It will allow him/her to receive a higher quality and accessible education.
The RPPC director also referred to the amendments made in the RA Law on General Education in 2022. As a result, a wider number of children were included in the list of children with SEN, in particular, children with exceptional abilities.
Also, the RA 7 special schools, which have a certain professional orientation, will be reorganized into Special School-Resource Centers to use their experience to provide appropriate professional support for children with more severe disabilities studying in schools.
