International Scientific-Educational Forum Of CIS Countries

As part of the forum “Special Education in the 21st Century” of the International Scientific and Educational Forum of the Special Professional Council of the Committee on Education and Science of the State Duma of the CIS and the Russian Federation, an international scientific and educational online round table was held on the topic “Special Education and Pedagogical psychological support, regional experience, features and challenges of our time” on April 20, 2022.

Director of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center Araksia Svajyan made a report in the conference on behalf of the RA MoESCS.

The topic of the report was “Challenges of Inclusive Education”.

Mrs. Svajyan presented the results of the research conducted in 2021 within the framework of cooperation between RPPC and the “Bridge of Hope” NGO. The aim of the research was to assess the transition to a new level of inclusive education in the Republic of Armenia, the effectiveness of the work done, and the organizational process of education for children with SEN.

Additionally, the aim of the research was to assess the inclusion in RA secondary schools and to compare the opinions of different groups on school inclusion and the assessments of different components as well.
