DEAR COLLEAGUES,
One of the primary areas of the activities of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center (RPPC) is to contribute to the creation and maintenance of a safe, secure educational environment free from violence and bullying, as well as to take actions aimed at preventing issues that hinder the educational process and ensuring an effective response to them.
Given the recent increase in reports regarding incidents of violence, we consider it important to emphasize that RPPC, in cooperation with the Education Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Department of Education of the Yerevan Municipality, Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers, as well as custodianship and trusteeship authorities, consistently and promptly responds to all reports.
Each case is reviewed within the shortest possible timeframe, taking into account its specifics, the existing circumstances, and the available information.
RPPC specialists visit the relevant educational institutions with the aim of conducting a comprehensive examination and engaging in professional work with all involved parties.
As part of the activities, meetings and discussions are held with the administration, academic staff, psychologists, students, and parents.
Necessary professional studies and assessments are conducted. Based on the results, appropriate recommendations are formulated and future steps are outlined, within the framework of which, guidance and support are provided to the directors of the educational institution, psychologists, academic staff, and TPPSC specialists in their respective areas of responsibility.
RPPC attaches importance not only to responding appropriately to recorded cases but also to carrying out consistent activities aimed at their prevention.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and partner organizations, RPPC will continue its activities contributing to the comprehensive study of issues within the educational environment, the development of effective solutions, and the assurance of safe and favourable conditions for every learner.
Creating a safe educational environment is a shared responsibility that requires consistent and cooperative efforts, with the participation of all involved parties.
