The training courses were started at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and continued at the Yerevan and Shirak TPPSCs, which were attended by around 182 specialists from RPPC’s and TPPSCs’.
The speaker was RPPC occupational therapist Seda Miroyan.
The current training courses aim to improve the knowledge and skills of TPPSC specialists and clarify their ideas about the specialty of ergotherapy, its role, importance, and effectiveness.
Speakers thoroughly get acquainted with the work direction and strategy of ergotherapy when working with different age groups and dealing with different issues. Also, the importance of a multifaceted and flexible approach to the work of the occupational therapist is emphasized for the correct assessment and goal-setting of the child’s needs.
During the training courses, the participants highlight the issues that have appeared during their professional activities, discuss the options for their solutions, observing the effectiveness of ergotherapy within the cooperation of ergotherapy and other related professions.
