Functional vision plays a significant role in the development of a child and affects all areas of their growth. Considering the importance of functional vision in this area, the speaker presented the main factors that determine the normal development of a child in the event of the correct functioning of the visual function.
She spoke about the visual functions and functional vision, the differences between them, the prerequisites necessary for the unimpaired development of vision, the additional difficulties that arise in children as a result of visual development disorders, and the need to prevent them.
The participants were informed about various behaviors related to vision development, the causes of vision impairment, and the recognition of behaviors indicative of this impairment, which will contribute to the development of skills for early detection of cases of visual impairment.
