The New Year’s miracle is everywhere—children are looking forward to Christmas… And now, the curtain of the fairy tale rises: young actors from the “MIASIN” Theatre Troupe of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center transport the audience into a magical fairy-tale world…
“A RAY OF SUNSHINE” (Author and Director Marine Asatryan, Head of the “MIASIN” Theatre Troupe) is a compelling and unique story of hope, trust, mutual support, courage, and friendship. It highlights the power of simple human communication and depicts how kind, sincere words and attitudes can change others, make them reconsider their actions, encourage cooperation, and ultimately create good for each and every one.
The characters of the play conveyed their feelings and emotions, inviting the audience on a unique fairy-tale journey to discover warm and bright moments in the heart of winter. With obvious interest, the audience followed the characters’ resistance to trials, sharing in their emotions and determination to overcome obstacles on the path toward their goal.
Applause, smiles, singing, dancing, and the occasional rays of sunshine warmed the atmosphere even further, filling everyone with positive emotions and a joyful mood.
The general enthusiasm was also shared by RPPC Director Lilit Mnatsakanyan, highly appreciating both the chosen theme and the uniqueness of the performance, as well as the participants’ more mature and skilled acting, encouraging them to “never lose their inner light and to move toward the rays of the sun with unwavering determination.”
The mood was festive, and the event became a unique opportunity to remind us that even in the coldest winter, there are rays of sunshine and warmth to be sought and found through building simple, sincere relationships. The miracle of Christmas always comes at the right time; we only need to believe in it and have the courage to move toward it. May that miracle be present in everyone’s life.
