Republican Pedagogical – Psychological Center hosted a seminar on “Color science as a means of discovering and developing children’s creative skills” topic, conducted by PhD Associate Professor/Chair of Fine Arts, Specialist of Department of Content Development Sevada Sargsyan.
TPPSCs’ special educators and psychologists took part in the seminar.
The seminar was aimed at discovering children’s creative abilities on the basis of the experts’ theoretical knowledge of color science. Also, the workbook “Art” for 1st grade” and the methodical guideline published by RPPC, were presented in detail.
The participants also got acquainted with the structure of different colors, the color spectrum and the different possibilities of working with colors.
Furthermore, they discussed children’s and their own works in groups, trying to reveal the inner world, creative tendencies, and psychological characteristics of working styles.
