The second stage of the training course on “Vocational education, education system and the features of providing pedagogical-psychological support services in VET” was held at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center from February 27th – March 1st.
The training course was conducted by education experts Marine Hakobyan (National Assembly of Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, coordinator-expert of the Standing Committee on Youth and Sports Affairs, Head of the National Training Fund) and Karen Manukyan (Head of the Department of Vocational Education and Training, RA MoESCS).
The aim of the course was to increase the awareness of the participants regarding the legal regulations and methodology of the vocational education and training system in the VET sector, and the effectiveness of pedagogical and psychological service provision as well.
Additionally, the training course includes group discussion, practical tasks, and exchange of experience.
Note, the training course is implemented with the support of the American people, within the framework of the “Workforce Development in Armenia” program funded by the US Agency for International Development. The aim of the program is to provide young people with the opportunity to improve their work skills and meet the demands of the labor market and find work in the fields of high technology, agriculture, tourism, and hospitality.
So, the project is implemented by the “Enterprise Incubator Foundation” (EIF) in cooperation with the National Agrarian University of Armenia, the Fund for Armenian Relief and Civitta Armenia.
