The United Nations General Assembly unanimously declared 2 April as World Autism Awareness Day. This decision highlights the need to improve the life quality of children and adults with autism and to realize their right to a meaningful life.

Autistic people do, nevertheless, still face discrimination and other challenges.
As with all populations, autistic people have a wide range of talents and challenges that are often not recognized by the world they are born into. In addition, the levels of awareness and acceptance vary dramatically from country to country.
On this day, various events and awareness actions are held in different countries. The purpose of which is to bring society closer to autism.
Psychologists think that children with autism have the prerequisites of talent or even genius. By identifying their potential in time and providing them with appropriate education, we will make significant progress in various spheres of society, education, science, art, sports, and others.
