According to the resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly, January 24 was proclaimed as the World Day of Education in order to emphasize the role of education in world peace and sustainable development. So, to realize the right to education, this resolution emphasizes the provision of access to equal rights to education, and inclusive, quality continuing education for all people as a prerequisite for the sustainable development of societies.
