On February 17, 2025, a working meeting-discussion was held at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center with the participation of the directors of the Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers and RPPC staff. The main topic of the discussion was the draft amendment to the TPPCS model charter.
RPPC Director Lilit Mnatsakanyan presented the package of amendments, which was developed based on the RPPC and TPPSCs proposals. She touched upon the processes envisaged by the new charter and their implementation procedures, emphasizing the relevance of the need to amend the TPPSCs charter, which is conditioned by the legal and structural reforms implemented in the education sector.
During the meeting, L. Mnatsakanyan also addressed the current work issues related to ensuring accessibility of the physical environment and reasonable adaptations in the educational institutions, the procedures for responding to cases of violence (bullying) in schools and the participation of TPPSCs specialists, the clarification and coordination of work implemented jointly with school psychologists, hiring necessary staff in TPPSCs, the introduction of monitoring sheets for pedagogical-psychological support services provided by TPPSCs, and the effective organization of other related activities.
TPPSCs directors also raised issues arising during their professional activities, and relevant discussions were held in order to find solutions.
