On November 26, 2024, a regular working meeting discussion was held at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center with the participation of the directors of the Territorial Pedagogical-Psychological Support Centers.
RPPC Director Lilit Mnatsakanyan touched upon several issues, summarizing the work carried out by TPPSCs, the problems posed, and the steps necessary to resolve them. In particular, several important current work issues were highlighted, which related to:
- ✦ ensuring accessibility and reasonable adaptations of the physical environment in schools and processes conditioned by changes in the financing procedure;
- ✦ clarifying and coordinating the working documents and packages of school psychologists;
- ✦ issues aimed at organizing the accountability process of school psychologists;
- ✦ staffing vacancies in TPPSCs with new hires, particularly psychologists;
- ✦ effective organization of training, monitoring, pedagogical-psychological support services, consultations, and other activities carried out by TPPSCs, as well as adjustment of schedules and systematic approach.
TPPSCs’ directors presented the current stage of the above-mentioned processes, raised emerging issues, and put forward suggestions for their resolution.
The discussion was held in a constructive atmosphere, and the topics for the next meeting were outlined.
