A new model of financing general schools is introduced from the 2023-2024 academic year, which implies a number of system changes, especially in financing inclusive education.
In particular:
- ✦ in the next 3 years, allocation of targeted funding to general educational establishments without physical environment adaptations in the amount of 3 million drams
- ✦ providing technical solutions and reasonable accommodations
- ✦ introduction of teacher assistant and psychologist posts
By the way, the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center developed the manuals “ACCESSIBLE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT” and “ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PROCESS OF ORGANIZING EDUCATION”, which were also provided to all general schools.
