The working consultation was aimed at discussing various issues related to the field of general education, in which the Deputy Minister of MoESCS Araqsia Svajyan, representatives of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center, National Center of Educational Technologies, NCEDI Foundation, Education Inspection Body, Yerevan Municipality and regional administrations, and other officials of the field of general education participated as well.
A. Svajyan presented the ongoing implementation of the new standard of general education. So, the future changes, steps aimed at the development of teachers’ professional abilities, new textbooks, and legal acts regulating the educational process were also discussed.
Additionaly, during the meeting, the organization of total inclusive education within the framework of the new financing model was also discussed. The participants emphasized the psychologist positions in all schools.
