Director of the Republican Pedagogical – Psychological Center Araqsya Svajyan took part in the international workshop on the “Overcoming and recognizing psychological trauma in children and adolescents” topic, which was held in Telavi, Georgia from September 14-16, 2022.
The workshop was organized by the German Company ”Corridors” within the framework of educational programs implemented in the South Caucasus and Eastern Europe.
So, the causes, manifestations, consequences, and response mechanisms of psychological trauma were discussed during the workshop.
RPPC director noted the importance of taking actions aimed at maintaining the psychological health of all aspects of the educational process, particularly of pedagogical staff and students, and strengthening the psychological service in educational establishments.
At the end of the workshop, possibilities and forms of further cooperation were discussed with the Georgian partners.
