Starting from this academic year, inclusive education should be provided in kindergartens step by step. This means that preschools must include children with SEN as well.
Starting from the 2022 academic year, the preschool educational establishments of the three regions of the Republic of Armenia: Lori, Syunik, Tavush, and Yerevan made a transition to total inclusive education.
TPPSCs specialists from the above-mentioned regions and Yerevan carry out assessments of the need for special conditions of education and the development of preschool-age children.
In addition to assessment, consultations and methodological literature are provided to kindergarten specialists in order to properly organize preschool education.
According to RPPC director A. Svajyan, close cooperation with parents is quite necessary, because the role of the family is very important for the development of a child at preschool age.
