PROTECTING A CHILD’S PERSONAL DATA IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERY ADULT
The right to protection of personal data is one of the fundamental human rights.
In order to implement this right, enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the RA Law “On Protection of Personal Data” was adopted in 2015, which establishes the rules and requirements that must be observed during the collection, processing, storage and usage of personal data.

Based on the Law, the Personal Data Protection Agency, operating within the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, was also established, which developed important guidelines on the mechanisms for collecting, processing and protecting children’s personal data.

The activities of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center in all its directions are aimed at ensuring and protecting the best interests of each child. One of the significant components of this mission is the protection of children’s personal data.
RPPC carries out awareness-raising, consulting and other activities, contributing to the formation of a culture of personal data protection and ensuring that children’s personal data is collected, processed and stored in accordance with the requirements set forth by Law.
