A meeting focused on the discussion of issues related to the organization of inclusion for children with SEN took place in the National Assembly.
The discussion was attended by NA deputy, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Tatevik Stepanyan, Deputy Minister of ESCS Araqsia Svajyan, Chairman of the National Labor and Social Affairs Committee Heriknaz Tigranyan, members of the committee, deputies of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the Prime Minister’s Office, Yerevan Municipality and Republican Pedagogical – Psychological Center representatives, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations.
So, the aim of the meeting was to contribute to the clarification of effective ways to ensure the inclusion of children with SEN, in particular the mechanisms for the implementation of personal and social assistant services.
The representatives of the interested NGOs talked about the existing issues, emphasizing the role of the interested structures, as well as the cooperative work of different departments to ensure effective inclusion in different public environments.
