A meeting-discussion was held at the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center on November 16th, 2023.
RPPC director L. Mnatsakanyan emphasized the importance of the effective work of TPPSCs in development of inclusive education. RPPC director L. Mnatsakanyan suggested to discuss the quality and efficiency of the provided services taking into account the workload of the TPPSCs connected with the increase in the volume of pedagogical and psychological support provided to preschool educational establishments and primary (vocational) and secondary vocational educational establishments as well.
Directors of TPPSCs’ presented the volumes of pedagogic-psychological support provided to the children according to the establishments, they also talked about the problems of employment and overloading of specialists.
Specialist of the RPPC Department of monitoring and data collection M. Hovhannisyan presented a digital analysis of the volumes of pedagogical and psychological support provided to children, as a result of which problem solving options were proposed, ways were jointly developed for the aim of improving support, assessment, training, counseling and monitoring services.
Planning of service mapping, which is expected to be implemented in 2024, was also presented.
So, on the basis of this process, it is planned to develop a package of recommendations aimed at increasing the efficiency of the work of the TNCs, which will be presented to the RA Ministry of Education and Culture.
