The eleventh webinar was held within the framework of cooperation with the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center and “Perkins International” organization Perkins School for the Blind on the topic of “Encouraging movement in children with developmental difficulties through everyday activities on March 26, 2024.
The speaker of the webinar was the expert of “Perkins International” Hrvoje Gudlin.
The webinar was devoted to the use of experiences in working with children with CNS disorders and developmental difficulties that contribute to their acquisition of movement skills through everyday activities.
The speaker highlighted the importance of providing a healthy and encouraging environment in which each child will be able to learn to move independently. Also, he spoke about the interconnectedness of difficulties caused by disorders of the nervous system, and the influence of the environment and surrounding people in overcoming them.
During the webinar, videos were shown that made it possible to compare the characteristics of the movements of children with normal development and those with developmental difficulties caused by CNS disorders, and to develop strategies accordingly, taking into account their abilities.
