On September 4, 2024, before the beginning of the academic year, an online meeting with the directors of the TPPSCs was held at RPPC.
The meeting was chaired by Lilit Mnatsakanyan, director of the Republican Pedagogical and Psychological Center.
The meeting topics were related to the key issues of the organization and implementation of inclusive education:
- ✦ Physical environment and reasonable adaptations of educational establishments, providing support by TPPSCs to ensure the reasonable adaptation needed by each child.
- ✦ Methodology for assessment of special conditions of education and development and students with SEN in educational establishments.
- ✦ Forms: a monitoring sheet for the provision of pedagogic-psychological support for the organization of the child’s education, and a specialist’s diary.
- ✦ Continuous implementation of training courses for various specialists.
Additionally, issues related to specifying the scope and terms of implementation of pedagogic-psychological support services by TPPSCs were also discussed. The RPPC director referred to the RPPC-TPPSC-school-Preschool cooperation, the problems and challenges during the activities of the TPPSCs, the planned tasks, the mechanisms to organize the activities, and other current issues were clarified as well.
TPPSCs’ directors present the questions they were interested in and came up with a number of suggestions.
