RPPC specialists who have participated in various international programs share their acquired knowledge, advanced experience, and information about other countries with their colleagues during these seminars.
RPPC deputy director Haykuhi Adamyan and the Head of the Department of Training and Methodological Support Ani Gareginyan shared their experience and impressions of the working visit to the “Mali Dome” Community Services Center in Croatia within the framework of the partnership with the “Perkins International” organization.
Our colleagues presented the specifics of the “Mali Dom” center’s activities, which related to individual and group therapies, building a chain of trust between parents and educators, the work and approaches of specialists and professional centers with children with various problems, competence in professional activities, and the importance of responsibility.
There was a reference to the trends in organizing education through art in “Mali Dom”, as well as to the support devices and technologies used to increase the efficiency of work with children with multiple and severe disabilities.
They emphasized the fact that the best interest of the child is at the core of the activity and all processes of “Mali Dom”.
