To effectively organize the education of children with exceptional abilities (gifted), knowing what special conditions and reasonable adaptations they need is important. SEN can be identified through the appropriate toolkit as a result of assessing the need for special education conditions.
The Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center organized and implemented the training courses on the topic “Toolkit for assessing the SEN for children with exceptional abilities”. Psychologists from the TPPSCs’ of Armavir and Yerevan participated in this training course.
The speaker was Lilit Karapetyan, a methodologist-trainer of the RPPC department of training and methodological support.
The training courses aimed to present the procedure and toolkits for identifying children with exceptional abilities and assessing the SEN to the psychologists of the TPPSCs’.
The training courses will be followed by the testing of the toolkit for assessing the SEN of children with exceptional abilities, which will be carried out by the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center, TPPSC’s of Armavir and Yerevan.
